“God will put a wind at our back and a rising road ahead if we work together as one.”
— Desmond Tutu
It’s amazing what happens when we work together. The synergies created by the whole quite often exceed the sum of the individuals. Even more so when the work is based in compassion and love.
We’ve all witnessed the results when we collectively come together to aid and comfort those in times of darkness. The unity of the cause creates exponential energies. You can feel the presence of spirit which acts as a divine wind at our back.
One. As in one people. One world. One common heartbeat. Some may argue for our differences, but our sharing in humanity makes us on one level the same. We are one. That understanding brings with it a sanctified “rising road ahead” that will guide us as we work compassionately towards celebrating and respecting our commonality.
Something greater than ourselves is at work when we all work together…as one.
DIVINE PROMISE The same can be said when we work compassionately towards celebrating and respecting our own inner capacity for greatness. We are here for reasons that we may or may not understand. Born with the talents, gifts and abilities needed to fulfill our divine promise. Our greatness lies within our ability to fully develop those talents, gifts and abilities. Our conscious efforts to fully realize our capacity for greatness will also be met with a divine wind at our back. When we are moved in spirit, the spirit will move us as well.
Something greater than ourselves is at work when we work to fully develop our greatness.
The energy and spirit of the universe embrace our causes for collective unity and individual fulfillment.
Embrace the spirit.
The wind is at your back.
It’s a great day to be you!
Great post, so inspiring. I’m a strong believer in acknowledging our interconnectivity… I stumbled on this Albert Einstein quote on our connectedness and the “prison” of our perceived separateness… Thought you might like it.
A human being is a part of the whole called by us universe, a part limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feeling as something separated from the rest, a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest to us. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty. ~Albert Einstein

Thanks for your warm comments…and for the powerful Einstein quote. Respecting our interconnectivity will push compassion to the forefront of our own interaction with each other.
